Work Package 4Policy Recommendations

From evidence to policy. The Policy Recommendations Collection synthesises the lessons of the whole FarmForward project into targeted guidelines designed to inform and influence agricultural education and policy across Europe, with a focus on long-term sustainability.

The recommendations address the educational gaps that prevail in vocational education for the agricultural sector, and set out how that education can move towards sustainability while keeping pace with technological change.

What the recommendations build on

  • Needs AnalysisThe gaps in knowledge and skills mapped in WP2 across Lithuania, Greece, Slovenia, Poland and Bulgaria.
  • Educational resourcesThe development and piloting of the FarmForward training materials in WP2 and WP3.
  • Stakeholder consultationsInput from VET providers, educators, farmers and agrifood organisations.
  • Expert contributionsAdvice from the practitioners and innovators featured in the Expert Insights Series.

The result is a strategic guide for policymakers, educators and practitioners in the field.
